1973

  • Rev. Arthur Pettyjohn founded Church of God Bible Academy (COGBA) in Pasay City
1976
  • Two students graduated from COGBA's three-year diploma course.

1980

  • The school was renamed Asian School of Christian Ministries (ASCM) under Rev. Gerald
  • Halloway.
    Two bachelor degrees were offered: Bachelor of Theology and Bachelor of Christian Education.

1985

  • Dr. Melba Pineda served ASCM as Acting Director.

1986

  • Dr. Robert Seyda was appointed 1st full-time President of ASCM.
  • ASCM moved to its present location in Salcedo Village, Makati.

1988

  • ASCM Received full accreditation from PABTS.
  • Music (minor) was added to the curriculum.

1989

  • Dr. Hubert Black assumed presidency of ASCM.

1990

  • ASCM became a seminary with the introduction of a Masters program.

1992

  • The External Studies Department was launched under the leadership of Dr. Miguel Alvarez.
  • Mission training programs for China and Middle East began.

1995

  • The Asian Seminary (ASCM) partnered with CBN Asia, Inc. to create the Asian Center for Missions (ACM).
  • ASCM's bachelor programs received accreditation with the Asian Theological Association (ATA).
  • The Department of Education, Culture, and Sports (DECS) recognized the Bachelor and M. Div. programs.
  • ASCM was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC).
  • The Master of Arts in Christian Leadership (MACL) program was launched.

1998

  • MACL was accredited by the ATA.
  • ASCM joined the AGST Consortium

1999

  • October. ASCM started hosting the Doctor of Ministry Program
  • ASCM received initial accreditation from ATESEA

2001

  • The presidency of ASCM was passed to Dr. Charles W. Quinley.

2002

  • The ASCM Singapore Extension was established.

2004

  • A new Information and Technology Center, as well as a Media Training Center was added to the school.
  • The D.C Barnes library was enriched with 12,000 new volumes of books.
  • Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) was added as one of the courses of ASCM.
  • ASCM partnered with United Christian Broadcasting (UCB) to put up the contemporary Christian radio station The Edge FM.
  • The Certificate in Radio and Broadcast Production Course was added to ASCM's offered courses.
