Alumni Updates

We thank our alumni for steadily sending in their updates and praise and prayer requests regarding their ministries around the world. It is a joy and an encouragement to current ASCM students to see where your hard work and faith has taken you years, months, even days after graduating from ASCM. It is also a blessing to Faculty and Staff to hear of the fruit that the school has sent off into the Harvest Field.

My dear friends,

I am sending you a picture of our students here in Fiji ...our farming day planting cassava. We have 2 ladies from Korea , 2 boys from Kiribati . We already have our international student's organization.

Love you guys,

Loata

Beben Joseph, left, (Indian) Master of Divinity 2004

Our small congregation, which started just two months ago, is slowly growing. Few young men and women are attending now. I am a young pastor for them! I think they like me. We are in need of a room. Do pray for God’s provision. Now I have to prepare messages every week, and it’s a tough task! But I am enjoying it. I am also slowly developing as a better preacher! Do pray for the growth of this congregation.

WEDDING BELLS RINGING? Don’t know yet but will happen very soon, I am sure. I am still enjoying my life as a “happy bachelor” but I think it’s time for me to let a girl hold my hand when I go out! I haven’t found a girl yet but will find her soon.

PRAY: For the ministry in Karnataka. I dream of having one church in every village of Karnataka , training young men and women and sending them out into the mission field, doing lots of charity works through which we can take the gospel into the villages effectively. Lots of funds are required for all these dreams to be fulfilled. Uphold us in your prayers, for funds, for our workers in the field, for the school etc.

I miss you all. Hope to see you again some day. Take care and God bless you! Just want to tell you that each one of you is remembered in my daily prayers.

Beben Joseph

"Malungkot ang di na estudyante ng ASCM.” (It is sad to no longer be a student of ASCM.)This is the real world.

I am now in Austria helping a Filipino congregation put up their youth ministry (Vienna Christian Fellowship). It’s a big opportunity but I will probably return (to the Philippines ) in September to start studying again.
