ASCM Welcomes 36 Scholars for 1st Semester

As is SOP (not the Filipino noontime show, haha!) 36 scholars were met by "Ate" Bang Camandero last June 15, 2006. New, as well as returning scholars were given an orientation of their "duties and responsibilities" as scholars of ASCM.

Lest you think the meeting was no fun, they were served with snacks (always a treat!), as well as anecdotes on the perks and pleasures of being supported by a myriad of men and women who sacrifice their resources for the Kingdom Harvest.

Paqui and Popejoy Meet!

Paquito Grama, ASCM scholar since 2003 has finally ( June 14, 2006 ) met one of his supporters: Cathy Popejoy, sunday school teacher from Norfolk-Azalea Church of God.

Cathy was so blessed to have met one of the students that their church supports, and she relates that supporting students for the harvest is a joyful sacrifice for most of them.

The students from her sunday school class are only a few among many who contribute to the church to give a designated fund to scholars of ASCM, like Paqui.

During the visit, Paqui and Cathy shared a very emotional time of sharing and praying for one another and for their respective ministries.
