ASCM SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

A. President Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to a sophomore, junior and senior student who has 97% grade point average from the previous period of enrolment. He/she will be awarded a Full Academic Scholarship.


B. Dean’s Scholarship

Incoming students may qualify for a full tuition scholarship on the following conditions:

1. Present the Form 137-A from an Accredited High School showing a grade point average of 92% or above, or a proof of accomplishment of Valedictorian (First Honor) or Salutatorian (Second Honor).
2. Present a Transcript of Record from an Accredited College or University showing a grade point average of 92% or above, or a proof of accomplishment of Summa Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude and Cum Laude for applicant who wish to apply for Masters Program.
3. Be officially admitted to ASCM.
4. Must carry a load of eighteen (18) units or more for the Bachelor level and twelve (12) units for the Masters level.
5. Must be endorsed by his/her Overseer.

C. Faith Scholarship

This monthly stipend is for living expenses given to:
1. A sophomore, junior, and senior student who is under any ASCM Financial Assistance Program both International and National.
2. A student who shows good character and potential for ministry.
3. Must maintain the grade point average of 90% or above.
4. First priority will be given to Church of God (COG) students and Word International Ministries (WIN).
5. The amount of scholarship is dependent on need and availability of sponsors.
6. A student must apply from the ASCM Scholarship Committee.


ASCM FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM

A. International Students Missions (ISM)

This Financial Assistance is awarded to all international students who enroll at ASCM and are sponsored by the Church of God-Asia Pacific Office are automatically covered by the ASCM Financial Assistance Program provided that they have been approved by the President and the Director of Admission and Registration as they met the necessary requirements (refer to the General Admission Requirements). This program includes the following:

1. In order to maintain the scholarship, international students must maintain an 88% G.P.A. per semester. Eligibility to continue in the scholarship program is subject to the evaluation by the Student Financial Assistance Committee at the end of each semester.
2. A student will be awarded full tuition fee only (excluding miscellaneous fees)
3. Monthly stipend
4. Book allowance of PhP500.00 / semester for those whose grade point average is 92% and above.
5. Free housing


B. Philippine COG-Regional

Each region within the Church of God system in the Philippines is granted financial assistance for promising leaders. These students must have accepted a calling into full time Christian service.

1. This financial assistance is awarded to those who has recommended by the Regional Overseer of Church of God in the Philippines. No more than four (4) eligible students from any region may be enrolled at ASCM at any given time. The following are the four Church of God (COG) Regions in the Philippines:

• Northern Luzon
• Central-Southern Luzon
• Visayas
• Mindanao

2. A student is given full tuition only (excluding miscellaneous fees)
3. A student must maintain a G.P.A. of 88% per semester
4. Book allowance of PhP 500.00 / semester for those whose grade point
average is 92% and above

C. Student Leaders

This is awarded to students who are serving as Student Body Organization
President and Editor-in-Chief of Legacy, the ASCM yearbook.

They will be awarded a full academic scholarship. They are automatically qualified for financial assistance as referred to the Development Standards above and as referred to the Qualifications for Running for an Office.
D. Hope

A total of ten (10) students per year may receive a 50% tuition fee (only) reduction
scholarship on the grounds of financial hardship.

1. A student will be required to maintain a 88% G.P.A. per semester.
2. If the student failed to meet the requirement, the financial assistance will be withdrawn.
3. A student may also apply for the Work Program to help meet the financial needs.

E. Pastor’s Kids

The children of parents serving full time as credential pastors in the Church of God are entitled to a 50% reduction financial assistance.

F. Work Study Program (WSP)

A student must apply to avail the WSP. Those who qualify will be assigned to assist in various areas of the school’s operations such as the Library, Registrar’s Office, and Business Office or as Student Assistants to faculty members.

G. Recruiters Enhanced Academic Competency Helpline (REACH)

A student who is serving in the Recruitment Team and who is not under any Financial Assistance Program is entitled to a full tuition fee only (excluding miscellaneous fees). A student must maintain the grade point average of 88% per semester.

E. Disqualification from ASCM Scholarship and Financial Assistance Program does not prevent students from enrolling at ASCM without financial assistance if they are eligible to enroll.
